Change your website’s template

By now your website has the perfect settings, but still the default WordPress template. We are going to change this now.

In the left dashboard menu under ‘Appearance’, click on ‘Themes’ to see your current theme and any available themes. For now, there are only the default WordPress templates available, but we are going to select a more professional looking theme now.

You can find many free themes at http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/. You get there by clicking on the tab ‘Install themes’:

Browse the themes and select one you like. If you don’t find a free theme to your liking you can also google ‘Premium WordPress Themes’ to find professional templates. They are usually reasonable priced and available for under $100.
